Material Handler/Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift Denton, TX - Denton, TX 76207Overview Job Shift DayDescription Position: Material HandlerShift: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday 3:30pm - 12:00am (midnight)Pay: $16.00 per hour plus shift differentialLocation: Onsite, Anchor Fabrication, Denton, TXAnchor Fabrication, a precision metal fabrication company is seeking an experienced Material Handler for 1st shift.Duties and Functions:Responsible for the receipt and inventory of incoming shipments, ensuring shipment is processed and placed in the appropriate bin.Ensure the appropriate transactions are entered into the computer systemProcess materials to be shipped by reviewing open order reports, pick list or tags.Pull the appropriate material and transfer to required locationConduct cycle counts as necessary and manage inventory of assigned areaLoad and unload trailers and flatbeds as requiredResolve inventory discrepanciesPick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficientlyCollaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillmentMaintain a clean and organized work areaQualifications - High school diploma or equivalent- Ability to write reports in the English language - Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a related field preferred - Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures - Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory - Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Effective communication skills to collaborate with team membersEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEA high school diploma or equivalent preferred along with; prior manufacturing experienceForklift experience (stand-up and sit down)Benefits:Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insurance401kPaid time offAll qualified applicants will receive considerations for employment without regard to race, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
