A company is looking for a Senior Member of Technical Staff - Algorithm & Performance Optimization - GPU Libraries.Key ResponsibilitiesCritically review and improve kernel algorithms for performance gains across AMD GPU architecturesDesign explainable heuristic models for kernel selection and workload mappingExecute large-scale kernel benchmarking campaigns and analyze performance dataRequired QualificationsExtensive experience with C++ and relevant applied experience using CUDA, HIP, OpenMP, MPI, or OpenCLProven experience with kernel performance tuning and understanding of hardware-level performanceFamiliarity with GPU kernel libraries such as Composable Kernel (CK) and MIOpenApplied experience using AI-assisted coding tools in software engineering workflowsAdvanced degrees (M.Sc./M.Eng. or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related fields
