About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Claims Resolution Specialist to manage attorney-represented and litigated auto and homeowner's bodily injury claims. Responsibilities include managing, investigating, and resolving claims, providing quality service to policyholders, and supporting litigation processes.

Location & Requirements

This position requires a minimum of two days per month onsite at our Plano, TX office. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius. Note: Applications from Washington, Idaho, and California are not being considered at this time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, investigate, and resolve claims, including evaluating coverage, liability, damages, and settlement within authority levels.
• Identify suspicious claims and opportunities for subrogation.
• Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and conferences, and report on case status.
• Collaborate with trial counsel and prepare trial reports.
• Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information and advise on actions.
• Respond to inquiries and ensure reserves are adequate.
• Manage external and internal legal counsel practices and billing.
• Travel approximately 10% for trials, mediations, and in-person events.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of personal lines third-party auto casualty experience.
• 3+ years of litigation experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, negotiation, and investigative skills.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of legal liability, insurance policies, and state tort law.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to obtain necessary licensing.
