The DPO is a member of the hospital leadership team who works in collaboration with the chief executive officer (CEO) to support the overall operation of the facility, inclusive of administrative and technical operation. Serving as the hospital's safety officer, the DPO manages the environmental services and security departments to ensure safe operating conditions in compliance with all state, federal and accrediting agencies. In this role, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the maintenance of the facility and grounds, the provision of utilities, the restoration and renovation of the facility and new construction. Planning, directing, and supervising all administrative and technical aspects of the department. Developing, reviewing, and managing the activities of self and other personnel in the department.
