SUMMARY
Bering Global Solutions, LLC, a company within the BSNC family, is seeking a qualified Performance Dietitian for the Human Performance Program at Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, TX. This unique position supports the human performance team in a military setting, working within a state-of-the-art human performance facility that integrates job-specific conditioning, advanced human performance technology, and convenient access to prehabilitation and rehabilitation physical therapy services. The Performance Dietitian plays a crucial role in providing nutritional guidance and developing nutrition improvement plans tailored for student pilots, instructor pilots, and other warfighters at Tyndall AFB. In this role, the Performance Dietitian will be responsible for assessing the nutritional needs of military personnel, teaching meal preparation, and assisting in the formulation of nutritional policies and guidelines. Collaboration with the Human Performance Team is essential to ensure a seamless integration of care for all warfighters. The selected candidate will engage daily with Air Force trainees, senior leaders, and various staff members, necessitating adherence to the highest standards of conduct and professionalism in all interactions. The position requires a proactive approach to nutrition policy execution and program requirements, serving as a consultant and advocate for a comprehensive fitness program for aircrew personnel. The Performance Dietitian will utilize a variety of dietetic principles and behavior change theories to plan, implement, and evaluate performance nutrition programs, ensuring that the nutritional needs of the beneficiary population are met effectively.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Executes nutrition policy and program requirements in accordance with instruction and guidance established by company guidelines.
• Serves as a nutrition expert, consultant, and advocate to support a comprehensive fitness program for aircrew personnel.
• Uses a wide range of principles, practices and procedures of the science of dietetics and behavior change theories to plan, implement and evaluate performance nutrition program needs.
• Develops and delivers relevant performance nutrition content and teaching materials for all human performance syllabi.
• In partnership with human performance staff, it assesses nutrition behaviors, environment and needs for the beneficiary population using available and applicable tools, data gathering, and research.
• Maintains data quality management and reporting requirements in program execution in accordance with DoD guidance.
• Communicates and coordinates nutrition programs among local leadership and target customers/beneficiaries.
• Employs appropriate social marketing tools to meet program goals and objectives.
• Delivers briefings, educational sessions, seminars, and worksite wellness consultation as needed.
• When appropriate, reviews patient records and provides appropriate assessments to determine dietetic treatment requirements.
• Maintains all professional credentials and licensure.
• Performs cleaning/sanitization of facility space and equipment utilized for performance dietetics services and activities.
