Nordex, a global leader in renewable energy, is seeking a Field Support Technician to join its team serving wind farms in South Texas (San Ygnacio, Rio Hondo, and San Perlita).

As a Field Support Technician, you will act as a hands-on resource, support maintenance crews, ensure that safety and quality standards are met, and serve as a technical mentor.

Job Responsibilities:
• Support turbine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues (primarily on Nordex N155 and AW3000 platforms)
• Observe crews in the field and provide real-time feedback on safety, quality, and best practices
• Assist with the onboarding and training of new techs
• Field incoming technical support calls and provide solutions or guidance
• Use technical tools, schematics, and diagnostics to help identify and resolve turbine issues
• Participate in RFS (Reliability Field Services) team efforts to track maintenance quality and performance

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree preferred; HS diploma/GED required
• 2+ years of wind turbine maintenance experience
• Valid driver's license and U.S. Passport (or willing to obtain a passport)
• Willingness to travel for training and site needs
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and outside normal business hours as needed
• Meet the weight requirement 120kg (265lbs.) or less to safely utilize climbing equipment and climbing gear
• Pass a pre-employment physical to ensure the ability to perform job functions safely
