We are currently looking for a Full Time House Parent to join our Childrens Village Residential team located at the Chickasaw Children's Village.
Summary:
Works in conjunction with other house parents to provide a structured and caring environment for student's grades 1-12, with emphasis on Academic, Social, Cultural, Spiritual, and Physical well being. Provides live-in/on-site 24-hour presence/supervision to student cottages.
Responsibilities:
* Reports any unusual behavior, conflicts, or physical and mental health concerns to line of support
* Seeks support from leadership when experiencing personal challenges impacting work performance
* Provides orientation for new students and ensure all paperwork is complete
* Maintains preparedness and cleanliness of the cottage and living areas
* Maintains daily tasks and chore list for students and ensure completion
* Keeps cottage stocked with necessary food and non-food items
* Assists students with school and homework needs
* Enforces structure of student schedules in regard to sleep habits, school and activities
* Provides a structured and disciplined environment devoid of negative intervention methods
* Assists students in learning and developing through daily living skills training
* Ensures all student health and hygiene needs are met and attended to
* Provides stable and caring guidance to meet the individual needs of student's emotional and social development
* Prepares reports as needed or requested
* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types

* Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR)
