Compensation: $120,000 - 140,000+ with bonus and profit share opportunities.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

We are seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our team in Austin, Texas. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on leader with a background in heavy civil construction, specifically in pipe and wet utilities. The Project Manager will oversee large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and profitability while upholding our commitment to quality. This position offers the resources to manage multiple projects while also leading a project management team. The right candidate will play a key role in our continued growth. POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop working budgets, schedules, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, change orders, and other management tools.
  • Oversee multiple civil construction projects, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage underground utility installations, including storm drainage, sanitary sewer, water, and fire lines.
  • Lead project teams, ensuring alignment with core values and operational goals.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive successful project completion.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Provide mentorship and training to future operations leaders.
  • Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams on project planning and budgeting.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering/Management or related field preferred but not required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in heavy civil construction with a background in wet utilities.
  • Deep knowledge of pipe installation, utility coordination, and site development.
  • Experience with public works or commercial projects preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and navigate challenges in the field.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to execute projects.
  • General knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing.
  • Experience with construction management software.

DAY IN THE LIFE/SCHEDULE

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday.
  • After-hours and weekend availability as needed.
  • 70% of time spent working from the Austin office and 30% spent on-site visiting jobs weekly.
  • May require some overnight travel.
  • This position reports to leadership within the organization.
