Description:

Project Site Manager – Semiconductor Facility Construction

We're hiring a Project Site Manager to lead the field execution of a semiconductor construction project in Texas. This role is responsible for managing daily construction operations, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule targets are met—within the fast-paced, zero-margin-for-error environment of a live or expanding fab.

You'll oversee major facility upgrades and tool installation projects involving complex design modifications and strict cleanroom protocols. If you have experience leading construction for advanced manufacturing environments and thrive under pressure—this is your opportunity to lead a mission-critical build.

What You'll Do:

  • Act as the on-site lead for all construction activity within assigned fab building(s)
  • Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with technical specs, timelines, and safety protocols
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, and commissioning teams for integrated project delivery
  • Lead daily trade meetings, manage look-ahead schedules, and track milestone progress
  • Troubleshoot field issues and resolve construction conflicts in real time
  • Maintain accurate site documentation: RFIs, redlines, safety logs, inspection reports, and issue tracking
  • Enforce strict quality control and cleanroom standards required in semiconductor environments
  • Manage tool move-ins and complex utility system tie-ins (CDA, process piping, exhaust, toxic gas)
  • Interface with commissioning and operations to support seamless turnover

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field
  • 10+ years of construction experience, including 5+ years specifically in semiconductor or high-tech fab environments
  • Deep knowledge of fab systems: HVAC, process piping, tool hookups, CDA, and contamination control
  • Experience managing live facility work and coordinating tool installations or utility upgrades
  • OSHA 30 certification (or equivalent safety credentials)
