Leading manufacturing firm looking to make a strategic hire as Plant Controller. The ideal candidate will be a leader in financial oversight with a manufacturing/cost accounting background. This will play a key role in interacting with senior management at the corporate and executive level. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience.

The plant Controller will:

• Maintain, manage, and analyze financial statements monthly, quarterly and annually; and verify all activity is property coded.
• Be responsible for month-end accounting close activities, preparing & posting journal entries, balance sheet analysis, cash management & reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial package to include financial statements, variance analysis, and key indicators.
• Prepare monthly variance analysis of budget-to-actual and provide guidance to manage results more effectively.
• Report on key indicators and measures of success to corporate & executive teams.
