The Leasing Coordinator is responsible for managing and supporting the leasing process within the community or association. This role ensures compliance with association policies and legal requirements, assists residents and prospective tenants with lease-related inquiries, and coordinates lease documentation and approval processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all leasing inquiries and applications.
  • Process lease applications and renewals in accordance with the association's policies and procedures.
  • Verify application information, conduct background and credit checks (if applicable), and ensure all required documentation is received.
  • Maintain accurate records of all active leases, renewals, and expirations.
  • Communicate lease status updates to management, board members, and residents as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with legal or compliance teams to ensure lease agreements adhere to governing documents and state regulations.
  • Monitor and enforce lease restrictions (e.g., leasing caps, minimum lease terms).
  • Update association records and software systems to reflect new and terminated leases.
  • Assist with leasing-related board approvals and present lease files for review as needed.
  • Coordinate move-in/move-out procedures, including resident orientation when applicable.
  • Support the property management team with reporting and audits related to leasing activity.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and maintain professionalism in all interactions.

Work Environment:
  • Office-based with occasional community site visits.
  • May include occasional evening or weekend hours for resident or board meetin


Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Power Point).
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

Pay and Benefits:

$23.00 to $25.00 , depending on education and experience.
