?? Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented HR & Payroll Specialist to join our team at a leading manufacturing facility in Gainesville, TX. This role serves as the key liaison between site operations and the Shared Services Payroll Department, ensuring accurate payroll for over 1,000 employees while supporting a variety of HR functions, including HRIS management, employee relations, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Administration

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for over 1,000 employees
• Audit and analyze payroll for accuracy and compliance
• Handle time-off approvals, garnishments, deductions, and discrepancy resolution
• Maintain payroll records and support internal/external audits
• Collaborate closely with Shared Services Payroll Team

Human Resources Support

• Administer HR policies, procedures, and onboarding processes
• Provide day-to-day support to employees and HR Business Partners
• Maintain HRIS and generate reports using Microsoft Excel and HR software
• Assist with employee relations, personnel files, timekeeping, and verifications
• Participate in training, benefits, and other HR-related functions as needed

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

• Associate degree in Business or related field (or 3+ years of equivalent experience)
• Minimum 2 years of HR experience with a focus on payroll
• 2+ years of HRIS/timekeeping systems management (ADP experience preferred)

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and mathematical skills
• Knowledge of payroll compliance and time/attendance policies
