Under the direction of the Park Superintendent, this position performs routine (journey-level) operations work in a state park and is responsible for the interpretation of Ray Roberts Lake State Park-Johnson Branch Unit. Develops, presents and coordinates interpretive programs for the public, leads interpretive tours and special events. Plans and implements outreach and educational programs for all ages. Operates and maintains the park interpretive center. Conducts site promotion and marketing, volunteer recruitment and training. Prepares reports and assists with visitor registration and revenue collection. Assists with routine facility, grounds, and equipment maintenance. Works under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs additional duties as assigned. Complies with all Agency, Division and Branch rules, regulations and procedures.
