We are currently looking for a Full Time HR Specialist to join our Human Resources Commerce Recruitment team located at the WinStar World Casino and Resort.
Summary:
Provides administrative and analytical support for the Human Resource Generalist. Performs a broad spectrum of duties with varied and complex responsibilities requiring a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, independent judgment and initiative. Provides day-to-day human resources support and counsel including the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs.

* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
* Performs administrative functions based on understanding HR policies and procedures. Many of these functions are confidential in nature and require insight into the why as well as the how and accurately communicate these policies to individuals at all levels of the organization
* Inputs all transactional data into the human resources information system while ensuring data integrity
* Performs recruiting functions including managing open position on the applicant tracking system, contacting hiring managers, candidate sourcing, initial screening, interviewing, reference checking, and selection
* Coordinates and conducts the efforts required in new hire orientation, demographic analysis, customized HR training and exit interviews
* Provides analytical assistance by running reports from the HRIS and applicant tracking systems and analyzing data extracted that would assist in the development and support of company HR initiatives such as turnover and hiring trends, employee and candidate demographic information, etc
* Composes correspondence that requires knowledge of company HR policy and practices as well as departmental initiatives and strategies such an offer letters of employment, leave of absence letters and letter and/or emails notifying applicants of their status in the employment application process
* Works closely with other HR staff to ensure a high level of accuracy and customer satisfaction
