Occupational Summary (Position Objective & Authorities)Objective:Under general supervision, oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between the project team and key stakeholders (customers, both internal and external, and management). Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops mitigation plans/solutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms to monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and solve problems with the project team, customers, and management.2. Main Function Responsibilities:Position responsibilities and activities filling Guidelines-* Kick off new projects, establish expectations, and maintain and drive the tempo through delivery/transition handoff.* Manage the project scope, budget, timeline, milestones and risks.* Lead cross-functional project meetings to review/update schedules, monitor progress, work bottlenecks, and ensure early problem identification and implementation of corrective actions.* Maintain positive relations with customers and communicate project status.* Work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand constraints and expectations.* Monitor all open action items to ensure timely closure.* Organize, schedule, and prepare for team activities and project meetings.* Develop and maintain a detailed master schedule/project plan to ensure project tracks to strategic deliverables.* Receive, understand, distribute, and respond to key communications (letters, memos, emails, etc.) from stakeholders (customers, management) in a timely manner.* Provide recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of each project.* Develop, track, and report applicable KPIs.* Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.* May approve electronic purchase orders.* Performs other duties as assigned.
