Sales Support Engineer Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Support Engineer to join our dynamic sales team. As a Sales Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales efforts by providing technical expertise, product knowledge, and customer support to our global network of clients and sales representatives.

Sales Support Engineer Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions and support throughout the sales process.
• Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, quotations, and product specifications tailored to meet customer needs.
• Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations for customers, sales representatives, and distributors.
• Serve as a technical liaison between customers, engineering, manufacturing, and other internal departments to ensure accurate and timely responses to inquiries.
• Provide training and technical guidance to sales personnel and distributors on products and applications.
• Support the development of sales strategies and initiatives to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, including product catalogs, datasheets, and application guides.

• Bachelor's degree from a four year College or University (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 5 years of successful applications engineering / sales support experience in an industrial environment, preferably in pumps, instrumentation, valves and flow control products.
• This relationship builder must have excellent interpersonal skills (in person and on the phone) and be computer literate in an office environment.
